Never did I once say that the ACC wasnt the best conference, Im just laughing at you for being so smug saying they were by far and away the best conference. 6 outta 10 is better than 7 out of 12, especially when half those 6 are still playing. Again, that 6th place pac-10 team beat the ACC's 2nd best in their own building in their only home loss this season. If they were by far and away the best conference, all those teams wouldnt be sitting at the house, at least 2 or 3 of them would still be left. The SEC and Pac 10 backed up everything that they were supposed to be. The ACC didnt. Just like in football, everyone dogged the Big 10 because Florida destroyed Ohio State although UT and Auburn proceeded to lose to Penn St and Wisky. There is no conference in any sport that is so superior like you make them out to be. Forget personal attacks, most people just want you to be a little bit realistic.

i gave facts, someone pointed out the rpi and i brought up the most widely used rpi there is which had the ACC on top, yet people kept still tryin to use pointless things to show how their respective conference is better...who cares who won the national title last year? what does that have to do with who the best conference is this year?

RPI isnt always the best indicator. Alot of coaches and media are very upset with the current RPI formula. As Twain said, there are lies, [censored] lies, and statistics. Like it or not, the public perception is that your conference is judged during march not when they are playing each other.

Right now everyone is thinking the pac 10 and SEC are strong and thinking that the ACC was overrated.

Pretty confident arent ya? Head to head the ACC didnt beat the MVC, the CAA, the Horizon, the SEC, the Mountain West, or the Big East. Youd think they could get one favorable matchup out of those 6.

Outside of KY the SEC is a joke, yes a joke in basketball. ACC has been and will always be number one in basketball, UNC, Duke, North Carolina St., and Maryland have all won national titles. This from a league that for years was 8 teams, so out of the original 8 teams half of them have won it all.

Overall, yes I agree. This year, ehh maybe not the best, its very speculative.
